Shipping policy
Last updated: 3 November 2026
We deliver Absolute Zero anywhere in South Africa. Here's how it works. All products are currently on pre-order, expected to ship in February 2027: see section 4.
1. Where we deliver
- We deliver to physical street addresses within South Africa only. We do not ship internationally.
- We cannot deliver to PO Boxes, and courier lockers or pick-up points are not offered at this stage.
- Interested in stocking Absolute Zero as a reseller, anywhere? Get in touch at hello@absolutezero.co.za and we'll work it out with you.
- Deliveries to remote or outlying areas may take a little longer.
2. How we deliver
Orders are delivered door to door by our courier partners. Once your order has been dispatched, we'll email you a tracking link.
3. Delivery fees
- Delivery fees are calculated at checkout and shown before you pay. Fees include VAT.
- Standard delivery: R100 per order, anywhere in South Africa.
- Express delivery: R150 per order, for faster delivery where the courier offers it.
- Free standard delivery on orders of R1 000 or more.
- There is no extra charge for outlying areas.
4. Pre-orders: nothing to pay today
All Absolute Zero products are currently sold on pre-order.
- Expected dispatch: February 2027. If that changes, we'll email you a revised date as soon as we know.
- Nothing to pay today. When you place a pre-order, you pay nothing at checkout. In February 2027, before your order ships, we email you a secure payment link for the full order amount (products plus delivery). We dispatch your order once payment is received.
- Pay within 7 days. Please pay within 7 days of our payment-link email. If the link isn't paid in that time, we'll send one reminder. If it's still unpaid, your pre-order lapses and is cancelled. Nothing is owed.
- Cancel any time. You can cancel a pre-order at any time before you pay, at no cost: email hello@absolutezero.co.za with your order number. If you've already paid but your order hasn't been dispatched, you can still cancel and we'll refund you in full.
- Delivery date by agreement. By placing a pre-order, you agree to an expected dispatch date of February 2027 instead of the 30-day delivery period in section 46 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act. If we haven't dispatched your paid order by 28 February 2027 (or a revised date you've agreed to), you may cancel it and we'll refund you in full. Your rights under section 19 of the Consumer Protection Act are not affected.
- Delivery fees, delivery times and the rest of this policy apply from dispatch as normal. We'll email you a tracking link once your order is on its way.
5. Dispatch times
- We pack and dispatch orders within 2 business days (Monday to Friday) of payment being confirmed. For pre-orders, payment is requested by email in February 2027 (see section 4).
- Orders placed after 12:00 or on weekends and public holidays are processed from the next business day.
6. Delivery times
Estimated delivery times after dispatch:
- Standard delivery, Gauteng and major centres: 2–4 business days.
- Standard delivery, regional and outlying areas: 3–7 business days.
- Express delivery: usually 1–2 business days to major centres; outlying areas may take longer.
These are estimates. Weather, strikes, public holidays, peak periods or other events beyond our control can cause delays. If your order is running late, contact us and we'll follow it up with the courier.
If we have not delivered your order within 30 days of receiving it (or by any other date we agreed with you), you may cancel it by giving us seven days' written notice, and we will refund you in full, as section 46 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act provides. The Consumer Protection Act (section 19) also gives you rights if goods are not delivered on the agreed date or within a reasonable time. For pre-orders, the agreed date is the expected dispatch date in section 4 (Pre-orders), and the period runs from when you pay.
7. Receiving your order
- Please make sure your address and cellphone number are correct and that someone can receive the parcel.
- Check the parcel when it arrives. If the box is visibly damaged, wet or leaking, note it with the driver if you can, take photos, and tell us within 48 hours. See our Refund & Returns Policy (absolutezero.co.za/policies/refund-policy).
- We are responsible for your order until it is delivered to the address you gave us. Once delivered, the goods are your responsibility.
- If a delivery fails because the address was wrong or nobody was available, we may ask you to pay the re-delivery fee the courier charges us. We'll tell you the amount before we re-send.
8. Collection
Collection from Pretoria is available only for orders above R10 000, and only by prior arrangement. Email hello@absolutezero.co.za to arrange it.
9. Looking after your drinks
Our cans are sealed and pressurised and travel well, but they don't like heat. Once your order arrives, store it in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight, refrigerate before drinking, and don't freeze the cans. Best-before dates are printed on every can.
10. Questions
Email hello@absolutezero.co.za with your order number, and we'll help. We aim to reply within 1 business day.
